I’ll kick off this new blog with a video.  Don’t we all wish that here in Los Angeles that money didn’t matter.  Ahhhh, the music video, that bastion of fantastical escape.

Of course, we know this is false.  Keri Hilson sings the hook to this song, but reveals a more realistic position on her own album on a song telling any suitors that they’ve got to “get their money up” to have a chance at her.

This blog will explore how to be BILA and make the best of it.  We will show you how to get the stuff you want for less.  We’ll talk about doing stuff on a budget.  Los Angeles is full of broke people.  There are poor broke people and rich broke people so hopefully, we’ll all benefit from the information shared in this space.

This is another website review by JD.  Seriously…saving money is part of the JD Experience and this is a great ‘deal-a-day’ site that you should check out.  Read about it at lunch.com!

Worst. Website. Ever. (a review I wrote)

I started writing reviews on a site called lunch.com.  This is one of them about the most horrible website in existence.  I *defy* someone to defend this.  Seriously.

By the way, lunch.com is not the worst website ever, you have to READ the review to find out the real bottom feeding site.
